2 Corinthians 4:5 (NKJV)

5 For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bond servants for Jesus’ sake.

In 2001 my wife Carmela and I and our 2 year old son Eric move to Sioux City. Over the next 15 years we had 3 more children. Timothy, Alyssa, and David. We have been in some kind of Ministry for over 20 years and know that this what God has called us to do. 

We really had no idea what God was about to do in our lives here in Sioux City. Over the next 15 years God has given us the privilege to work along side with some amazing churches here in the Siouxland area. We have been blessed to be in the ministry with them. 

But in 2014 God was putting a new call on our lives where we would be in full time ministry (this is what we had been praying and wanting for years) and to have our own team but it wasn't until I laid down my own dreams that God really began to work and He was working fast. He started something new in me and in my family. I went back to school to get my credentials. Then in 2015 when asked to to help out here at Sioux City First I was honored. Little did I know that this would be right where God wanted us. 

There is a quote from Steve and Shawn that I love " When God asks you to jump, as nervous as you might be, you run to the edge and leap like you never leapt before. Not because you see the other side but because you trust the One who asked" So in Jan 2016 I along with my family took the position here at Sioux City First as the Creative and Worship Arts Pastor. We love being apart of a church where people know how to live on purpose.
